    Canada/Newfoundland & Labrador Community Access Program (CNL-CAP)January - August 2000

    Responsible for the creation of new provincial web site and the update of the old web site.

    • Designed architecture, created original graphics, and coded new, bilingual web site while following strict government guidelines.
    • Acted as consultant for other aspects of CNL-CAP. (ex. hiring procedures, graphic layout for marketing.)


    Provincial Information and Libraries Resource BoardMay - August 1999

    Regional Coordinator - CANAL99, Grand Bank, NF
    As regional coordinator of the Community Access Newfoundland and Labrador 99 (CANAL99) Program, I acted as a liason between 25 Community Access sites in Eastern Newfoundland and the head office in St. John's.

    • Created internet-design tutorials for all Community Access workers.
    • Monitored worker activity via an Intranet database.
    • Designed web sites for the Town of Grand Bank and the local Public Library.
    • Performed computer maintenance work at Community Access sites around the Burin Peninsula.

    John Cabot (1997) 500th Anniversary CorporationMay 1997 - January 1998

    Congress Organizer, St. John's, NF
    Organized the Five Hundred More Youth Congress, one of the highlights of the Cabot 500 Celebrations.

    • Duties included: public relations coordinator, facilitator, counselor, program evaluator, transportation supervisor and, clothing representative.
    • Designed (but didn't code) an interactive web site about the issued dealt with by the Congress.
    • Designed promotional products to advertise the Congress.
